This bone-dry Riesling shows loads of green apple fruit, crushed rock, and some pleasantly, sponti-tinged, petrolly scents on the nose. Fresh, broad, and very minerally in the mouth, increasing as the finish goes on. Not for those who like fruity Rieslings, but very well done. — 8 years ago

Strong nose and medium in body with medium acidity, and a touch of RS on the palate.

Showing lemons, green and red apples, grapefruits, herbs, spices, light earth, light gooseberries and white pepper.

Nice finish with grapefruits and limes.

This is a very tasty Sauvignon Blanc based blend from California. Crisp and refreshing. Tangy and easy drinking. Nicely balanced with nice complexity.

Good by itself or with food.

A blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc, 16% Sémillon and 9% Viognier.

13.8% alcohol by volume.

This is actually the “Fraulein” Kick-On Ranch Vineyard Riesling. Structured from 20 hours on the skins. Fruity with ripe orchard apples. Aged in neutral oak. Producer notes “white chocolate” on the shelf talker and it is surprisingly accurate. Unique, leans Australian in style. — 6 years ago
