Always a great wine and after yet another wonderful day in the wine business it’s hitting the spot. Nose is very wet stones, lemon peel, some jasmine and more. Gorgeous and clear. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The NV Brut Nature pours a faint pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with winsome notes of ripe berries: raspberry, strawberry, white peach, lemon curd, brioche and minerals. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and despite the zero dosage, the fruit comes across almost round…but in a really good and balanced way. Damn…I love Drappier!
