These wines are killer and just keep getting better with each subsequent vintage. 2017 is superb, now with secondary complexity, it’s elegant, satiny and detailed, seamlessly balanced between richness and tension. Fantastic white burg and a particularly great pairing for the Beurre Monte Tilefish. — 6 months ago
Savory and juicy. Feels like it would pair nicely with a salty medium rare steak! — 4 years ago
Amy’s, Greg’s farewell.
Enjoyed this. Almond notes. Clean. Approachable.
“Varietals: Chardonnay & Sauvignon Blanc
Farming: Organic, Unfined/Unfiltered, No added SO2
Deep yellow. Ripe stone fruit and peach. Stewed yellow fruits follow onto the palate with aromatic flowers, unripened almond and a long mineral finish.
Harvest: by hand”

Despite a slight reduction feeling, a magnificent wine very mineral driven, saline, with just enough roundness for a great balance, long linear finish, delicious.
Malgré une petite réduction encore présente, magnifique vin avec une salinité et une tension tranchante presque, tout en ayant une petite rondeur, belle finale linéaire et savoureuse, très équilibré et charmeur. — 5 years ago
Full bodied but dry. Yummy with Dijon chicken. Bought at a wine shop in Boston for $35 — 7 years ago
I believe this is a natural wine, and I think I could tell. It had a nice funk to it that was great with our dinner. It was light and fresh which balanced the aforementioned funk nicely. Soft tannins and pretty acidic. Lively, really drinkable, and overall not what i expected from a Pinot. — 2 months ago
Finally getting around to posting wines from my annual Napa trip from two weeks ago. Always goes by quick! Lots of fun new stops this year.
Really enjoyed my visiting with Will at Mending Wall where he poured Rivers-Marie as well as his personal label William & Mary.
A baby, but lots of great things ahead. The fruit is very pure and concentrated without being overly rich. Hardly any trace of oak. Bright lemon zest, crushed limestone, honeysuckle with fresh and zippy acidity. Lots to like here. Thanks for a wonderful hosting @William J. Segui . — 6 years ago
Brambly, fresh, dimensions, straight juice. The supple effervescence sizzles through the profile with a schisandra-like mineral/salty high note. — 3 months ago

Dégustation à l’aveugle de 5 Pinots. Une touche végétale, fruits rouges aussi, une bouche assez avenante, avec quand même du volume, très bon. Mon no 5. 90-91
Blind tasting of 5 Pinots. A touch of vegetal on the nose, red fruits and a palate that is generous, with some volume, very nice even if no 5. No 5 for me and the panel but a very good bottle nonetheless. — 5 years ago
An unfinished bottle which the engaged couple brought from their earlier dinner. Enjoyed this more than the Nicolas Feuillatte Brut, which I felt was a little too rich. Definitely a pleasant surprise. Fruity, juicy, and bright. Had a little bit of reductive stank, but nothing I mind. Finishes quite tangy with subtle yeast and spice notes. Not bad at all. — 6 years ago
Lighter red. Fruity with just a touch of pepper. Slight effervescent. Very good. — 7 years ago

More like a 1er Chassagne, esp after 30 mins of air. Surprise persistence and well-placed oak for structure. A rare treat. - at AR Valentien — 12 days ago
