On the nose I can't get away from toasted marshmallows 🤷‍♂️ and honeysuckle. Not super acidic, this wine has a soft bite. It's a nibble. This wine is nibbling on my earlobe.

Drinking with Mom, Dad, and Emily in France at Alain Jaume! Apparently this is 100% Syrah. Color is purple red for sure. Nose is smokey with maybe some caramelized sugar? The taste is very spicy, leather and smooth. It is very good. — 2 years ago

2016 vintage. Soft and indistinctive nose and flavors upon opening and stayed that way for the better part of two hours. Then started to gain substantial weight/heft, and spice complexities on the finish. Opened this waay too early but it lost a coin flip to the 2019 Alain Voge VV Cornas.
