Black & blue fruit on the forefront with a very nice stony, graphite mineral note quite prominent. Fruity, fresh and very enticing.
Light bodied on the palate with brilliant, juicy acidity and nice depth. Love the purity here. Cranberry & tart cherry, crunchy, juicy tannins, nice length.

If one Portuguese varietal grabs me it’s Baga, & this bottling is one of the higher end bottlings I’ve tried. It’s early in its development so demands decanting and/or aging, but the stuffing is all there. Ripe red cherries, medium light body, some Burgundy adjacent analogies I’m sure. — a month ago

What a nose! Complex, enticing, quite elegant. Black fruit & black cherries, nice wood accents, a bit of earthy notes, a hint of leather. Actually very Bordeaux’esque… and yet slightly different. Warmer. Closer to Bolgheri or Maremma. So enticing.
On the palate this is much lighter - very Baga in style. Light yet with presence & punch. Love the tannic frame - present & firm yet so juicy. Brilliant freshness and purity and great depth. This has real character and is so delicious at the same time.
