The most amazing house wine you could probably buy! a Ribera del Duero super good value to have just for when friends come over or a midweek dinner. Correct. #riberadelduero #spain #tempranillo — a month ago
For me at it’s peak. Nice fruits like bramble dark cherries and plum, combined with meaty tones, leather and some umami. — 4 months ago

One of the best RDD wines we have had. Excellent balance. Just the right amount of oak. Super elegant. 13.5%. Very nice! — 10 days ago

Delicious licorice taste, cherry notes, dark color, tannins are soft. Lil acid — 4 months ago

This is a great value ! Less than 15 euro in equivalent local currency. The nose is intense. There is a bit of funk, cherry, earth, leather, oak, coconut, meat juice. It's pretty intense and exciting. The palate is long, bright, broad and thick. It's not very subtle but it's very well made and quite structured and full-bodied. The mouthfeel is soft and silky at first, with cherry and savoury notes at first. There is a bit of a layer, some thick matter on the sides, and it turns into a massive wall which gives way to a strong drying layer all over the finish which is fruity, savoury, a bit bitter, drying and quite long. It's very good stuff considering the pricetag. Need to buy more. — 4 months ago
We popped and poured this wine. It was most enjoyed with our dinner. It probably will be even better it you waited but hey I wanted to give it a try. Luckily I have another bottle. — 5 months ago

Better on day 2 — 6 months ago
Jay Kline

Opened about an hour prior to service; enjoyed over the course of two days. Fairly consistent throughout but maybe even a touch better on Day 2? The 1976 “Unico” pours a garnet color with a slightly orange rim and a near opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and some sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with intoxicating notes of cassis, black cherry, red plum, dried flowers, coffee (for dayz), tobacco, leather, sandalwood, some organic earth and a mix of cool and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long with gorgeous texture. This bottle came across remarkably young and supremely elegant. So much so, that I thought it was an inspired decision by one of our brothers-in-wine to include it in this particular lineup. We had a little leftover for the next day and it continued to show well. Brilliant stuff. Drink now through 2046+ — 2 days ago
