This is the Old Vines Petite Sirah. Finally found a B & H that was ready to drink 😂. Cherry cola, leather, blood, and varnish. Little hot on the finish or would have rated higher. Plastic cork? Almost blew out my spleen trying to pull it out with a $2.00 gas station corkscrew. — 8 years ago
A very nice Chambolle-Musigny. Just a perfect color in the glass. After a swirl the aromas reveal themselves. Quite restrained, with dried flowers and a touch of red fruit on the nose. Silky smooth mouthfeel with well balanced fruit and earth, and a long finish with good acid. Tannins are there but smooth. Delicious with mains at Club Chasse et la Peche in Montreal. — 9 years ago

Absolute happiness in a glass - bold yet gentle; vibrant yet restrained; lemony creamy goodness - one of my favorite expressions of Chasse Monty yet. — 7 years ago

Beautiful and historic. Old ownership. Wears the 14.5% alc. well. Dark cherry, cassis, eucalyptus, jalapeño, and perfectly integrated oak. Blind tasted next to ‘14 Chase-Spleen and was immediately recognized for its fruit and character. Plenty of life ahead but drinking very well with a long decant now. — 4 years ago

Wednesday night's middle of the week wine is the 2010 Château Gressier Grand Poujeaux. This wine is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot and made in conjuction with Château Chasse-Spleen.
The nose reveals juicy dark fruit, black cherry, black raspberry, black plum, black currant, licorice, violet floral notes, chocolate and an earthiness.
The palate leads us to the same juicy dark fruits of black cherry, blackberry, black plum, black currant, herbal notes, licorice, violet florals, toasty oak and good earthy notes.
We have a full bodied medium + acidity, medium + gripping tannins that moves right into a long finish with lingering cherry notes straight through. Enjoy the down hill side of your week and continued safe travels. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 8 years ago
Really a very nice champagne. Soft but persistent bubbles. Complex nose with lots of yeast and nuts. Great mouthfeel, with lots of lemon. Finished long with good acid and hazelnuts. Delicious by the glass selection at Chasse et la Peche in Montreal. — 9 years ago

We took no specific notes but an excellent cabernet based médoc that is always elegant and well done. — a month ago
