Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Cuvée Tradition 2015

2015 vintage. Not in the same league as the 2016 and 2017, but nevertheless an attractive wine. Golden yellow. Honeyed nose with subtle hints of rosemary and fresh mint. Round mouthfeel, lacks a bit of tension, but charming. Good spicy length. — 4 years ago

@"Odedi", never seen this, I assume it resembles Vin Doux from Banyuls and Maury, similar winemaking?

Lirac Grenache 2018

Nice grenache nose with blackberry notes along with garigue and tapenade touches. This is simple yet very inviting. The palate is very well made with a very strong acid backbone, a nice blackberry note all along, somehow a milky mouthfeel, a powerhouse of a midpalate with a good grip and a very long finish with fruit and that grip, along with a tiny bitter touch. This is simple but very well made. More of this!! — 5 years ago
