Light tannin - tobacco leather - dark ruby red — 2 months ago
Delicious light and crisp — 4 months ago
Sourced largely from dedicated parcels and younger vines in a frost-challenged year, it opens with red currant, graphite, and cedar, layered with subtle floral and savory notes. The palate is full bodied and precise, with polished tannins, fresh acidity, and restrained oak.
More akin to Clos du Marquis to Leoville Las Cases in spirit than declassified Grand Vin, this is a well priced Cuvée from Ducru. — 5 days ago

Good Château Canon Croix Canon Saint Emilion 18 @8800, Pieroth, 251117 — a month ago
This is young...very young. However! This is already very impressive. Somewhat of a "if you know, you know" wine that has bags of potential. Give this 10 years and it will go up against almost any wine. Did an aged blind tasting against Dominus a few years ago and this smashed. Good one to have in your cellar! — 5 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of 66% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, floral spice and smoky tobacco notes, aged 12 months in 80% new barrels. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with cacao, tobacco, licorice and cigar spice. Fine chewy tannins, well balanced on long finish, ending with fruit, cedar, tobacco and earthy mineral character. Very nice, will age well but needs time in the bottle to really enjoy! — 10 days ago
