2014 vintage. A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30%Merlot and equal parts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Aged 16 months in barriques (30% new). Cassis, cedar wood and a dash of clove and black pepper. Medium-bodied, with fresh fruit, tannin with a slightly rough edge, and good spicy length. Good value at 13 euros. Unfortunately owner Bernard Lartigue passed away in October 2020. His very young daughter Alice-Jeanne is now in charge. — 5 years ago
This wine has a medium ruby color. The nose offers aromas of blackberry, plum, black currant, anise, and a hint of black tea. The palate is very smooth, and loaded with the dark fruit flavors. Tannins are quiet, and the finish is long and earthy. I would pair it with lamb, blackened salmon, or chicken salad. — 3 months ago

Wine Cellar. French White similar to a Sancerre — 3 years ago

Textbook Pouilly-Fume. Nose has equal proportions flinty minerality and ripe gooseberry fruit verging into orchard fruit. Zero cat pee or overly green herbal notes. Crisp in the mouth, with nice weight and balance. Some fruit up front transitions into full mineral mode by the end. Would be dynamite with grilled shrimp, but I’ll happily settle for simple sipping before dinner. Since @Delectable Wine isn’t doing locations anymore, I’ll just make believe I’m drinking this in France. — 2 months ago
