A perfect rosé. Crispy. Notes of strawberries and limestone. A wonderful way to start any summer evening. — a year ago
It is time for some Merlot on this #MerlotThursday.
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Strong and fruity nose with ripe black fruits and chocolate notes.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry and fruit forward on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing cooked cherries, plums, black currants, coffee, light cedar, earth, herbs, spices, tobacco and chocolates.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
This is a delicious Merlot from the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Soft, elegant, and very impressive.
Rich, complex and fruit forward. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel.
This 6 year old Merlot will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Drinking it with the wine maker in the winery's cellar is always a special experience.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

I’ve been anticipating my first #chinon taste. This wine started out tight - right after pouring you get a pronounced meaty nose which opens up to floral and subtle vegetal notes and laid back dark fruit. Plenty of acidity on the palate, reserved red fruit, leather, dried violets finishing with structured tannins. Fantastic wine to have with food, but also delicious by itself. — 6 years ago

Great with mustard greens- sausage- rotini. Crisp and balanced complemented spicy food — a year ago
Cotes de Catalan red with Guinea Fowl at Spring. Excellent fruit, not the graininess I can find in Grenache/Carignan reds at times. — 3 years ago

2022 vintage. Any wine that smells like roses gets my attention. In this case the roses are intertwined with spices, and it is hard to find wines this cheap that smell so nice. A delicious, uncomplicated, spicy and fruity Negrette, with a little tannic bite that can be served slightly cold. Abv. 12,5%. This organic Fronton delivers lots of pleasure and character, and it sells for a song. — a year ago
Lovely. Off the list at 5eme Peche in Collioure. — a year ago
A chance to compare again with proper notes. Aromas of maple syrup and honey. The Sherry sweetness comes through, with a toasty, nutty character on top of the grape. Very nice. — 2 years ago

Interesting single malt from Taiwan. Sweet vanilla aroma. Cedar, nuts, caramel, Szechuan pepper, hot cinnamon. Not super smooth, but layered and very spiced. Leaves a mouth tingle. I’m not much of a whisky guy, but good to try. — 10 months ago
