Château Rocher Figeac

Château Figeac

St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2001

Medium dar rubi robe, more like a grand cru burgundy than a St Emilion. Nose of top soil, asphalt, tobacco, cherries and a hint of flowers. Very light on its feet, with a great length on tannins that are velvety in spite a touch of green ness in the end. A great Figeac and such a wonderful bottle. — a month ago

Château La Tour du Pin Figeac (Moueix)

St. Emilion Red Bordeaux Blend 1998

Truncated dinner party notes. Surprised this was still kicking as vigorously as it is. Yes, still red fruit, but with secondary and tertiary notes adding so much complexity. Delicious. — 9 months ago

Château Petit-Figeac

Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2020

A well structured second wine from Chateau Figeac. Lively floral bouquet on the nose transforms into a structured wine with dark fruits on the palate. — 13 days ago

Château La Rose Figeac

Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

2018 vintage. 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Nathalie d'Espagne took over in 2013 and the wines have gained in finesse ever since. Organically farmed since 2009. Beautiful nose with flowers, crushed strawberries, coffee, and subtle spices. In the mouth it displays juicy red fruit, spices and an intriguing minerality on the finish. Fine length too. Very good value for Pomerol. Abv. 13,5%. — 8 months ago

Château Belregard-Figeac

Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend 2017

Blend of 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep Ruby red color with aromas of dark black fruit, and a slight herb nose. On the palate flavors of blackberry, currant and raspberry, with tobacco and herbs. Fine grainy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and a touch of earthy mineral notes. — a year ago

Clairin le Rocher Pignon Rum 2018

Tied w the Sajouos for a favorite Clairin.
Perhaps a tad sweeter. Not quite as grassy as the Sajous,LLBut this is piddling.
Great, versatile stuff.
