Plum and strawberry. Oak. Juicy. Good tanning and acidity. Raspberry. 2020 @5940, Umem JH, 230811-230902 — 2 years ago
At one time, this area was know as a moonshiner site, subsequently planted by Charlie Chenoweth with Pinot Noir. Medium Ruby color with aromas of dark berry fruits with notes of herbs, citrus, herb and spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, ripe strawberry and cherry, espresso, vanilla and herb tea spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine tannins on a long finish ending with cedar, baking spices and earthy character. Very nice! — 5 months ago

So beautiful and a perfect match to the food of Guadeloupe — 9 months ago
This scratches that white burgundy itch at a relative bargain price (for white burgundy). Love the just-ripe peachy fruit on the nose. Reminds me of Puligny to the south. Floral notes and wet, bright limestone. In the mouth it’s balanced but with nice weight. Lots of crisp orchard fruit/apple, nice acids, and a slight bitterish note in the fairly long finish. Again, nice value here. — 5 months ago
Nose: closed on open. lovely. White flowers.
Palate: very mineral. Lemon peel. Perfect lemon. A hint of sweet lemon. Not fruit forward. Saline. As this opens, village Puligny. Very well made. Lacks density and complexity to be great.
