Damn. Chartogne Grand Cru is 💥💥💥 — 3 months ago
Beautiful Meunier. This was champagne number 4 after a few amazing drops. So light and soft with a gentle buttery taste — 2 years ago

Outstanding 100% Pinot Meunier firing on all cylinders mostly 2018 base wine. Everything you want in a PM champagne that you get from the masters Alexandre at Chartogne and Jerome Prevost at his namesake winery. I'd say this is a touch more mineral, and ready to drink now after about an hour of air. It probably won't age as long as Prevost as those wines are so dense and start to blossom 5-7 years in, but that's ok because this is $60 and is a banger right now! — 3 years ago
Golden color. Orchard fruit and toast on the nose. Medium acidity and medium body. On the palate dry, with plenty of toast and lemon character. Mineral driven. — 6 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 2015 “Les Couarres” pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with loads of raspberries, strawberry, white peach, key lime, chamomile, slivered almonds…a touch of toasted marshmallow and candied orange. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and full of minerals. Outstanding stuff with the generosity of 2015 on full display. Everything in balance. Drink now through 2035. — 4 days ago
