This is erste Lage and a trocken version of riesling.
This is probably the best German trocken riesling I have had so far.
The nose is lemon, lemon zest, elder flower. Clean and neat. The palate is a laser beam acid drive. A clean and clear lemon note all along, some width, almost an RS mouthfeel in the width but the backbone is so strong that is drives the palate forward for ever. In the end there is lemon and lemon zest too and that acid drive making for a salivating finish. This is great — 4 years ago
This is an amazing rose from Austria. Purchased it during the summer of 2020, but it made it until December in our wine fridge. Glad that it did, because it delicious and I will purchase again to enjoy on hot summer day! — 6 years ago

A bit weighty but with enough juicy quality. Not incredibly exciting — 7 years ago
Very closed for business! Will revisit in a couple days, damn these 15's right now. Candied citrus on the nose and under-ripe pineapple on the palate.
24hr Update: Still candied citrus on the nose, but picking up wet mineral notes. Palate is lean, but picking up a touch of sweetness on the finish.
48hr Update: Welcoming light petrol to the nose and nice wet slate to the palate, this party has finally begun! — 7 years ago

Serious GG level wine for under $30. Great complexity, peach, dijon mustard, endless finish. Gone before you know it. — 4 years ago
This is super tasty now. Strawberries, peach skin, great acidity with a bit of tart apple and some minerals. It’s a wonderful drink on a hot day. — 5 years ago
Interesting more savoury, herby style of riesling. Really nice. — 7 years ago
Great. Nice sour notes — 8 years ago
Ripe and juicy, yet razor sharp. Citrus and tropical fruit, wax, and slate. Yum! — 3 years ago
For the price, this is an excellent wine. Subtle hint of tannins, mellow fruitiness, and nice and dry. Excellent with Thai style pork skewers. — 5 years ago
Medium gold color - looks rather advanced for its age but smells and tastes divine. Pronounced aromas of bruised apple, lime, lemon, honey, peach, wet stone, acacia, dried apricot and petrol. While marked “trocken” with no indication of ripeness Level there is a hint of botrytis on the nose and the wine at 12%abv is off-dry giving every indication it was at auslese Level when picked. Flavors of honey, peach, lime, lime blossom, acacia, ripe apple, flint with a wonderfully long finish. — 6 years ago
Dry German Riesling pleasure with roast cod lion and crisp polenta at new restaurant Gezellig in Holborn. Will return to both this wine and restaurant! — 7 years ago
