First time trying this and coming off the back of a dry month.
Impressive for its depth and weight. Nose displays blueberry jam and a hint of sandalwood. Palate is opulent and rich - pretty much stood still in the bottle. Glorious tannins, acidity and that Cali sweet note on the finish put this in the outstanding category. — 25 days ago

This is generally regarded as the best example of Shiraz Viognier in Australia but recently I tried a 2015 Serrat Shiraz Viognier which was the equal of Clonakilla if not better. As per previous Delectable notes this bottle had the trademark dried spices, cloves a trace of pepper and dried meat. Barely medium weight and always a joy to drink. My last bottle. — 2 months ago
