Nice balance of acidity and fruit for a 16 year old wine. 2010. In fact it’s pretty fantastic. A bit of stewed apricots d hints of green apple. The tertiary elements are charming as heck. Go team! — a year ago

Good Les Demoiselles de Larrivet Haut-Brion Pessac Leognan 13 @, Pieroth, 231117 — 3 years ago
Good but a little overpriced,
The 2018 Cuvée Les Demoiselles is a blend of 62% Mourvèdre, 28% Syrah and 10% Grenache aged in 36% new French oak. Winemaker Stephan Asseo says that the Mourvèdre vines are more than 20 years old now and that he has started picking it a bit riper than he used to. — 5 years ago
A good wine but not as good as some other St. Emillion that I’ve had. Dry but less tannic. — 8 months ago

Nicely expressive on the nose with red fruit (raspberries, red currant), a touch of black currant leaf and some pleasant earthy undertones.
Light to mid weight on the palate, with brilliant flow. Juicy, fresh, enticing. Nicely framed by the fine, silky tannins. Nice depth here, and a super long finish. Slightly salty, slighty herby towards the end.
This is singing right now and is just delicious. — 22 days ago
