Another mustardy joy from the GOAT (or more like duck I suppose) — 3 months ago
Although wine may have been past its prime, it lacked a distinct aroma. It was well-balanced with relatively low tannic notes. — 5 months ago
Aromas of ripe citrus and stone fruit are lifted by a subtle, herbaceous breeze. The palate is vibrant and rounded, with a refreshing acidity that leads to a clean, saline-mineral finish. — 8 months ago
Champagne Method Portuguese sparkler. Blend of native Portuguese grapes including Maria Gomes (23%), Bical (70%) and Cercial (7%). Aromas and flavors of pear, citrus fruits, white flowers, wet stones, honey and anise. Hint of chalk, smoke and minerals on the long finish. Expressive effervescence and creamy texture. (Lees Aging?) Unique, interesting and easy to drink. Excellent QPR. — a year ago

Sparkling strawberries, more depth than your average sparkling rosé — 3 months ago
I had this exactly a year ago, and it tastes much better now. Maybe it needed that extra time, or my palate is different. Still strong acidity and grappa notes, but the finish is long and feels more layered. Apricots, herbs, dried orange peel. Not so much prune as before. One left in the cellar, so I’ll try again next year. — 3 years ago
Wow so good! Natural sparkling rosé with lotttsss of sediment. Juicy orange character makes this very drinkable. I love how inventive Portuguese wines are lately. — 4 years ago
Juicy and delicious. Enjoyed with some Lebanese food. Enjoy the earth and natural style of this wine. — a month ago
80% Bical, 20% Arinto. I might like their red better ( My beloved Baga) but this still stands out for its showing as a mid weight beauty, lemon curd & almond paste notes, with a strong mineral streak & some interesting fennel & herb notes at the edges. Hopefully not cursing it by saying it’s Burgundy adjacent — 2 months ago
Very unusual Zin. There were hints of brambles and blackberries, but the real difference was the texture and taste—smooth as silk from the first sip straight through to the end of the finish. — 6 months ago
