Wonderful Brut from the Bourgogne (Burgundy) region of France. Nice combination of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. Taste of apple and mild citrus flavors. Sips well any time but also a great starter for Lunch/dinner. Great value! Frank October 2025 — 4 months ago

Mild buttery, good on own — a year ago
Made me sick but very good! Total Wine — 22 days ago
My first vintage Crémant, this shows some development. Ripe citrus, lightly baked apple, pear, with hint of toasted brioche. The effervescence remains fine and persistent.
Easy drinking. — 2 months ago
Delicious by itself and in mimosa. Not too buttery. — 7 months ago
Popped and poured; no formal notes. While the Goutorbe was ready for the business, this 2016 from Gimonnet was more of a discussion about its potential. This Special Club bottling showcases Oger and naturally, is a 100% Chardonnay BdB. I like where it’s headed, it’s just so youthful and tightly coiled. Loads of minerals and acid. Needs time. Drink after 2026 and through 2046. — 2 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2008 pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of passion fruit, green apple, marzipan, light brioche, lemon curd, and chalk for dayzzzz. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and textural; leezy. I’m smitten. Lovely stuff. Drink now through 2048. Disgorged April 2022. — 12 days ago
