Deep golden colour.
Beautiful mature White Bordeaux. Good complexity in the nose and palate, showing almondpaste, pumpkinpie, tangerine, dried mango, beeswax and hay. Quite rich, but there’s enough acidity and bitterness to balance it all out. — 3 months ago

2023 vintage. 60% Sémillon and 40% Sauvignon Blanc. Fieuzal is a personal favourite, and while I know the "grands vins" quite well, this is my first encounter with the second wine. Brilliant light golden colour. Seductive nose with fresh pineapple,white peach,grapefruit, and a hint of basil. In the mouth it confirms the synergy between the two grape varieties, a subtle interplay between exotic and citrus fruits, with impeccable purity, freshness and very nice length. Abv. 12,5%. 2020 vintage. Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Petit Verdot (3%) and Cabernet Franc. A very good second wine, in a lighter style,but try to type for the appellation, and a great introduction to the grand vin. A skilful, harmonious blend with admirable purity and a soft mouthfeel. Good spicy length. Nice value. Abv. 13,5%. — 8 months ago
