2009 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 30 mins. Much more acidity (specifically orange peel/orange zest) than any other new or older WS offering I’ve come across. Was really tight initially and improved somewhat. Maybe an off bottle or “in a mood.” Was lacking the usual/hallmark WS rubber stamp that accompanies their juice. Muted. 8.26.23. — 3 years ago
Great color in the decanter... medium gold with an enticing perfume. Notes of sweet Meyer lemon, apricot, gravel stone, tan clay, some mint, a little ginger and some sweet marzipan. Has an exotic and slightly musty (desirable) funk. Huge weight with great fruit and solid acidity in the mouth. Decanted for 2 hours before drinking. Awesome juice! If you Google “why should I age white burgundy?”, an image of this 35 year old bottle should be shown... — 5 years ago

This is the best tasting juice of 2020. — 6 years ago

It's sunny and just over 30°F today, so fire in the chimnea time! First flames of 2019.
One of our favorite new (2009) AOC's in France, this is 80% Gamay & 20% Poulsard, but the epitome of 100% sparkling strawberry juice! So GD delicious!
One thing to note, last bottle is always the best, we're out of stock now, but don't hold these too long. We've seen bottle variation, likely best to track lot codes on the bottles and make sure your buying a newer version than the last, since we're talking about an NV product. — 7 years ago
Happy New Year all! 🍾🥂
This 07 outshines/performs the overall vintage.
Outstanding mousse & lively acidity. Lime zest, lemon pulp in juice, grapefruit w/ pith, orange citrus blend with peel, kiwi, tropical melons, white nectarines, excellent white spice, baguette crust, gritty white chalk, dry, crushed limestone bits, grey volcanics, oyster shells, saline/sea spray, light tones of fresh herbs, yellow lilies, spring flowers with greens, excellent acidity, well; structured, balanced, knitted, beautiful finish that is even and lands on minerality & spice. — 6 months ago

Light gold in glass. Awesome nose. Notes of lemon, apricot, petrol, crushed stone, cardamom spice and a little white clay. Rich and well balanced in the mouth. Long finish. Leaves a sweetness impression. Still young with great acidity, and on its upslope... Can get better with a bit more age I think. Great juice. — 6 years ago
Decanted ~5hr.
Color is brown ruby, unfiltered.
Nose has cedar infused cherry-red raspberry, rose-violet florals, touch of alcohol, bright potpourri and wet soil. Nose is quite tight!
Palate has strawberry juice, orange peel, under-ripe cherry, dried herbs, blackberry jam and great (high) acidity. Finish is medium at this point in a young life.
Soo young, but very elegant! Future bottles should be 2023+
Lightly cloudy on the double decant for service this afternoon. Part of an epic E&M based afternoon plan as we sit by the chimnea on a beautiful early Spring day. The Cardinal's and Chickadee's are now singing the background chorus. — 7 years ago

It’s 1/2 bottle n/v Billecart evening.
This is a more appropriate color of rose for the Rosé color of this champagne.
My go to n/v Rosé Champange for a number of reasons…quality & 1/2 bottle availability are right up there.
Blood orange, black cherries, Rainer cherries, lean strawberries, pomegranate juice, hints of raw rhubarb, grainy, grippy, sharp chalkiness, crunchy volcanics, limestone, sea fossils, baguette crust, deep white spice, orange lilies, peach roses, excellent, lively acidity with a rich, well balanced smart finish that starts clean, ripe fruits falling onto perfect minerality. — 5 years ago
Happy New Year Everyone!!
Cristal for the parents and sparkling apple juice for the twins!
Cristal doesn’t hold a candle to my go to of Bollinger Le Grand Annee, but is always nice on a special occasion! Was very restrained and probably will be better in 5+yrs. — 5 years ago
Had incredible change through one glass — 6 years ago
From the Willi’s Wine Bar list. Light straw gold. Heavy, more weight and depth when compared with the Meursault Exudes young Chablis with sea breeze and salinity, honeysuckle, wet clay and white flowers in the nose. Rich and heavy in the mouth. Shows power and complexity with air. Needs time. But this is pretty good juice. — 7 years ago
