This is my last bottle of this remarkable single vineyard Syrah, the first bottle consumed about 6 years ago.
The nose opens seamlessly with ripe plum, blueberry compote, and cassis before evolving into savory waves of smoked meat, dark cocoa, dried violet, and aged soy. The palate is full and silky, with a refined sweetness and integrated spice driving a long, savory finish. Still powerful but now balanced and restrained. In peak form. — 4 months ago
Very nice but a bit thin. Sour cherry and some nice nose if candy but ultimately not worth the price. — 7 months ago
Amazing wine! — a month ago
This needed some air to open showing dark cherry, berry fruit with lots of spice, earth, mineral & violets — 7 months ago

Initially quite reduced and aromatically closed but eventually opens up to reveal its Vosne perfume. The palate is impeccable though, with excellent density and richness, succulent fruit and acids and a long saline-mineral finish. — 21 days ago
