Absolutely gorgeous nose of cedar, wood shavings, pine, cigar, cassis and florals, with classic Margaux perfume and extraordinary depth. The palate has really smoothed out since my last bottle, with creamy cassis, unbelievable juiciness, tiny-berry concentration, sweet velvety pointillist tannins and beautiful minerality carrying an enormously long finish. Still structured and angular enough to age, but now far more integrated. One of the great Bordeauxs. — 2 months ago

The first bottle of this was premoxed, but the backup was stellar. Bright, fresh, vivacious. Lifted white flowers fine citrus acidity and a broad, luxurious palate. A hint of mint on the finish… This has many years ahead, but is drinking really well now. — a month ago

Aug 2026: drank alone – fragrant floral front notes finishes slightly dry but mostly fruity. Well balanced and very enjoyable when slightly chilled. Perfect with oysters / seafood and cheeses. Should’ve opened it earlier as it was just starting to oxidate in the bottle — 3 months ago
A stunner. — 9 months ago
Black fruits (plum, blackcurrant), well-integrated oaky tertiary notes. Aromas of coffee, caramel, tar, tobacco, musk, humus. Beautiful aromatic range, and flexible.
Fruit noirs (prune, cassis), notes tertiaires boisées bien intégrées, avec des notes café, caramel, goudron, tabac, musk, humus. Belle gamme aromatique, et souple. — 5 years ago

2012 vintage. Not in the same league as the more recent vintages, but a nice mature Margaux that shows no sign of fatigue. — 2 days ago
