One of about 7-10 Ca Chardonnay’s I enjoy. My last of three. Their 2018 is slightly better than other of their vintages I’ve had.

This rides the fence of of white burgundy & Ca Chardonnay.

Macerated red & green apples, some lime & lemon pulp, tropical fruits, kiwi, heathered honey, caramel, sandstone, saline, dry river stone, soft white spice, just a hint of brown sugar, a near chalky presence that coats the tongue, vanilla, frothy cream foam, yellow flowers, jasmine nice round acidity and an elegant rich, balanced, nicely tensioned w/ a 60 second finish that lands on volcanics and just a shade of spice. — 15 days ago

Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.

Fruity nose with black fruits, cedar, chocolates, tobacco, mediterranean spices, licorice peppercorn, coffee and cola.

Full-bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate and very fruity with blackberries, black currants, cooked plums, dried fruits, vanilla, cedar, licorice, cola, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices, light earth and black tea.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Rich, complex and extracted. Fruit forward, Nicely balanced and elegant.

This 6 year old Cabernet is already drinking beautifully, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

I've had many different vintages of this wine and it always delivers.

A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with a nice piece of steak.

A blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot.

Medium deep ruby with a thin violet , ruby rim. On the nose with time in decanter , this shows spicy crème de cassis , grafite and blackberry , red plum , touch of vanilla and a light toasty note, cherry . On the palate this has a richness of dark fruits , with blackberry , dark cherry , sweet quite suave tannins , quite good freshness and good acidity . The next day this comes across more reserved and focused with a saline , grafite tinge to the ripe dark fruits , fine chiselled tannins and really nice freshness . Good grafite tinged length. Pretty young still , this will improve over the next 5-8 years and keep well a further 10 or so . — 16 hours ago

Full bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with a soft mouthfeel.

Elegant and nicely balanced. Fruit forward, complex and entertaining.

I had this vintage a year ago, and it wasn't showing well at all. Drinking beautifully now.
