Excellent. Medium-plus in body and nicely structured, this wine was saturated with flavors of boysenberry, pomegranate, and black licorice. Nice finish, too! 70% Montepulciano, 30% Sangiovese. 5/21/22. — 4 years ago
Lovely nose of spiced fruit, ripe plum, raspberry jam, and cinnamon. Spicy dark fruit, oak, coffee, black tea, blackberry, sage, and licorice. A lovely wine that starts a bit shy, but opens up nicely. Medium tannins, medium plus alcohol, and medium to medium plus acid. — 6 years ago
Earthy aromas with black cherry, rich body with balanced acid and tannins, black cherry and cola, a long dry finish. Juicy but firm. — 3 months ago

Fresh & fruity with a little minerality. Really enjoyable with a light summer meal. 🍤🥖 — 4 years ago
Bright and dry. Rather tart. Not amazing, but very good. — 5 years ago
Super good, light but rich taste. Excellent summer red. — 6 years ago
Medium to full bodied. Red fruit on palate was balanced by herbaceous notes and light oaky tannins. A stand out. — 7 years ago
Wow. Super savory, lots of salinity, minerality, and brightness. Mmm. — 10 months ago

Mmm tasty, still only £12ish — 3 years ago
Red Sox are finishing up a disappointing season, but this wine is definitely not disappointing. Nose is deeply fruity, with intense and pure red fruit and the barest whiff of gravel. In the mouth it’s fruity, pure, deep, dry, and balanced. If Le Marche made Beaujolais, this would be its Morgon. Fantastic value in a weekday dinner wine. — 4 years ago
