This is the type of wine I really enjoy. Earthy, not too dry, not sweet. A little dry, but not to make you pucker, medium tannins, NOT fruit forward (thank god). It tastes like an Italian red wine. Another solid vintage of this unique Tuscan wine. IGT blend of Teroldego (90%) and Syrah (10%). Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of red and black fruit, leather, dark cocoa and orange zest. Flavors of cranberry sauce, cooked black cherry/berry/plum and raspberry fruit with additional hints of vanilla, dark chocolate and pepper spice.
