Flat Iron has some bottlesClear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary and secondary aromas of raspberries, pomegranates, and cloves; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, low tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced intensity primary and secondary flavors of cherries, cranberries, dried leaves, and hibiscus with a long finish. This wine is complex and balanced. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it too. — 18 days ago
Great tasting blend. — 2 months ago
Had this at Comedor in Austin TX last night. The food there was overly hyped up, over smoked! Glad of this even though it's 3 times overpriced in retail! — 14 days ago
Bold, full hints of ripe blackberries, black plums and dark cherries. Dry and balanced tannins / acidity. Wait for the smell of old leather. Great finish. — a month ago

Still a great vintage and could have many more years to go. — 3 months ago

Rich red fruits, despite the 15% ABV, this smells and tastes like a cool climate Syrah (my vague recollection was that 2008 was a cooler year, though this vineyard usually produces the ripest and most high-octane Syrah in the Tensley stable), nice balance, lingering finish, very fine!’ — 10 days ago
