Great stuff — 5 years ago
Blended from Taylor Fladgate's reserves of fine, cask-aged tawnies of several vintages, these wines are on average 30 years old. Deep golden amber color with intense and complex aromas of rich dried fruits, caramel, vanilla, spices and nuts, 125 grams of residual sugar. On the palate flavors of apricot, sweet berry, honey with orange marmalade, nutty and toasty notes, well balanced with lively nice acidity. Long finish ending smooth with a spice, woody, nutty and honey character. Very Nice. — 2 months ago
Once again: I'm not a porto fan. And this one is The exception. Maybe because it's 50 years old, whether it's f.ckin' good. Smooth, elegant, with coffee, honey sweetness and very long finish. Best porto I've ever had. And probably the last one. — 4 years ago
I think @Josh Morgenthau really nailed this note: recently finished Taylor Fladgate 20 yr which was always a favorite, but I picked this up in Duty Free and was blown away. Similar notes & flavor profile as TF, but the mouthfeel really sets this apart & above. So elegant, so refined, such great tension & harmony - the defined acidity highlight & elevate intense flavors. Bravo! — 2 years ago

Moins bien que mon souvenir, un peu de surchauffe, aucune nuance, ni complexité — 4 years ago
My 2nd favorite 20 yr behind Grahams. Ramos Pinto is good as well, but seems to have to bottle to bottle variability issues…. Taylor is a great standby at a good price. — 4 years ago

1994 vintage. Popped, decanted and filtered and tasted immediately. Opened six decades too early. The whole crushed violets and plummy thang definitely there alongside hints of sweet tobacco in her breath. With apologies, just another number in your little black book. These are the pros and cons. 1.24.26. — 12 days ago
