Les Choisilles Montlouis-sur-Loire Chenin Blanc 2020

14.5%. 🍎 apples, ripe, a big wine. Really well done yet over the top for me. Apple pie. A fantastic wine for asian food! I had a hard time with this one! On one side I was smitten and on the other side I was wondering what could this wine be with this quality grape material picked earlier and therefore less alcohol and more elegance? — 10 days ago

Les Caillerets Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay 2011

It’s no secret PYCM made incredible 11’s. Les Caillerets couldn’t have shown better tonight, fully open and giving wafting from the glass with layers of white peach, toasted hazelnut and pastry cream. The palate is impeccably refined, elegant, pure and chiseled with racy lemony acids, superb weight for the vintage and a long stony mineral inflicted finale. Excellent, and still quite young. — a month ago

Clos Habert Montlouis-sur-Loire Chenin Blanc 2018

One of the best Chenin producers out there, if only I had the discipline to hold these a few years more … lol — 20 days ago

Les Vignes d'à Côté Syrah 2021

Open knit. Juicy blackberry, cherry and plum fruit, accompanied by floral violets. Impressive for the buck. — 6 days ago
