Bit of a filler-wine...tastes good but completely forgetable. — 3 months ago
Deep Ruby red color with aromas of berry fruits, oak and herb spice, a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. On the palate flavors of blackberry and currants with notes of cedar, herb, cacao and bell pepper. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, vanilla and earthy oak spice character. — 3 months ago
2020 vintage. One of the best vintages for Barreyres with exemplary purity of fruit and the smoothest tannins I have ever experienced with this estate. Abv. 13,5 %. — 17 days ago
This Bordeaux deserves a solid 9.3. Bouquet, aroma, berries and oak. Had it on the AF flight to Mauritania. Paired it with shrimps and topinambour cream and beef. Solid — 2 months ago
A bit of oak with a long finish. $30 — 4 months ago

Atherton Wine Imports 2026 tasting at République, Los Angeles. 2019 vintage. Medium-medium heavy bod. First third (of the palate) better than the last third. Makes promises and only partially keeps them. The 2018 had total follow-through. 3.18.26. — 6 days ago
