Another excellent vintage of this Barbaresco favorite. Light ruby color with garnet highlights. Aromas of red fruit, rose petals, orange zest and toasted wood. Delicate flavors of sour red and black cherries, sweet baking spices and red and black licorice. Lengthy finish, gentle (but tight) tannins and plus/tangy acidity. Medium bodied, feminine and harmonious. Still young with time to progress. Thanks for opening this bottle, Keith S! — 3 months ago

Very similar to the recent 2013, but with more roses. Again, much softer, less powerful than the Ravera and the Vigana Elena. $225 from WA. At home with Curly. — 2 months ago
Popped and poured into a bota bag; poured into chalices and free-poured into mouths as I played the role of Dionysus at a Greek god themed dance party. The 2022 pours a deep ruby/purple color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of primary black and blue fruits, mixed florals, anise and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. I love the fresh, crunchy fruit. A perfect wine for revelry! Drink now through 2030. — 5 months ago

We all miss Delectable but it is nice to see some of the same folks still flying the flag.
