Blend of 70% Grenache, 17% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah & 3% Cinsault, deep Ruby color with aromas of berry fruits, oak and floral spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with oak, herb spice and floral notes. Wine was complex and elegant with fine smooth tannins, long fruit and spicy finish. Very Nice! — 8 months ago
This is a very good value for a classic GSM Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Well balanced, with good acidity, plush tannins and bright red (strawberry, red currant) and black fruit (blackberry, black cherry). There is already a welcome note of garrigue (wild thyme and lavender) and a hint of leather. What prevents it from scoring higher is a medium finish from toned-down intensity. For that added level you need to go for the top-tier (and excellent) Les Cailloux! — 2 years ago
Very dry paired with colin fish and then goat cheese. Delicious — 5 years ago
1970 Vintage amazing this wine is 49 year old and still good! From the bottom of the cellar, the cork was leaking a little so we opened it! Had it in June 2019 with friends who visit Chateau la Gardine every year — 7 years ago

This is a delicious 14 year old GSM blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Rich, but not extracted. Elegant with lots of chocolate notes. Well balanced with nice complexity.
Impressively fresh and youthful for its age, with good structure and balance. The high alcohol is well integrated by now.
I've had a few vintages of this wine and it is very consistent.
Drinking at its peak, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.
A gorgeous wine to drink by itself or with food.

Still working on a case. Showing as good as I’ve seen in a while. Quite delicious funkiness — 7 months ago
GOSH this blend of Roussanne, Clairette and Grenache Blanc makes for a poised, silky and aromatic but elegant bottle I’d imagine paying twice as much for. The nose promises stone fruit and incense adventure, while the palate is cozy, adding warming spice, lanolin and honeydew melon, along side hints of wet stone to keep it all fresh. J’adore, je affor(d). — 2 years ago
Nice grenache nose with blackberry notes along with garigue and tapenade touches. This is simple yet very inviting. The palate is very well made with a very strong acid backbone, a nice blackberry note all along, somehow a milky mouthfeel, a powerhouse of a midpalate with a good grip and a very long finish with fruit and that grip, along with a tiny bitter touch. This is simple but very well made. More of this!! — 5 years ago
Love it! And great for the price — 6 years ago
