Catch up from a wine dinner last month. Another rare treat on an evening of many new experiences. So muscular. Still very young, waiting to uncoil, but delicious nevertheless. — a month ago

Great wine. Will improve but not a bad time to open. Aromatics started with a distinctive smoky or reductive note that I couldn’t quite place but dissipated and morphed. Good structure. — 4 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2010 Corton-Charlemagne pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of green apple, passion fruit, lemon, white flowers, slivered almond and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and slightly buttery. Apparently, this vintage had a reputation for suffering from some premox issues. This bottle was pristine. Based off this example, drink now through 2035. — 4 months ago

Catch up from a wine dinner last month. Weighty! Viscous. A big mouthful of chardonnay for sure. — a month ago
Bright Ruby red color with aromas of red berry fruits, sweet spice, tea and floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with spice, licorice and floral notes. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, floral spice and slight earthy mineral character. Good value! — 4 months ago
Yellow with aromas of dandelion, pear, steely minerality, and candied apple. Nice acidity, long finish, and luscious. Flavors of candied apple and grassy notes. Wonderful! — 5 months ago
