2023 vintage. From vines planted in 1968. Wonderful floral nose, elegant and complex. This small estate is a great discovery, I had a nice conversation with owner Denis Basset and one of his young daughters, Eva, who is fully involved. An estate to watch! — 9 months ago
Dark purple in color with a short reddish rim.
Fruity nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing black plums, black currants, coffee, light oak, spices, chocolates and licorice.
Short finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 5 year old Merlot from Saint Emilion is starting to drink nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Rich and extracted. Fruit forward and robust.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.
14% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

The nose opens with waves of ripe black cherry, cassis, plum liqueur, and dark chocolate Beneath the opulence lies impressive complexity with hints of espresso, violets, and peppery spice emerge gradually with air. The palate is dense and supple, showing warmth and generosity. Plenty of nuance beneath the lavish fruit.
Possibly the best value for a St-Emilion GCC. Will need to seek out more. — 2 months ago
