Generally not a big fan of cabernet franc, but this was recommended to me as an especially good example. Glad I tried it. Not heavy, but distinct notes of fruit and earth/leather. Really good abd sophisticated, especially at this price ($28 I think). Recommended by Lower Falls Wine Shop in Wellesley, MA. — 15 days ago
Blend of Merlot (80%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). Dark ruby color with a brick colored meniscus. Aromas of graphite, ripe black fruit, violets and mint. Bold blackberry/black currant/black cherry fruit flavors with additional flavors of tobacco, iron, vanilla and sweet baking spices. Well integrated toasted oak on the long and luxurious (slightly bitter) finish. Soft tannins and well integrated acidity. Aged perfectly. — 5 months ago
Great wine. Love the light taste but the body is amazing. It doesn’t have an aftertaste but you can definitely taste all the flavors while you’re drinking it. If you’re a cab fan it’s worth a try. — 5 years ago
