The oldest of a 4 bottle vertical I bought a few weeks ago. In a perfect window. Made a vodka sauce and wow. Great compliment. Fresh herbs after an hour of being open. Can’t wait to try the other 3 years. — 5 months ago

One of the best values around. I don’t know why I want to even alert others to this wine, it will make it more inaccessible, but all I can say: GET IT! — 7 months ago
Christmas wine this year- just perfect with the meal and day 2 was even better! — 8 months ago
Opened up nicely after a few days. — 8 months ago
Wonderful orange. Full bodied with a subtle tang. — 5 years ago
Medium ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cranberry, pepper, plum, toast, and vanilla. Medium-plus body; firm, medium-plus tannins and refreshing, medium-plus acidity. An rich, ripe bouquet of fruit and spice; a soft, well-integrated mouthfeel; and an easygoing finish (with a little heat on the backend). A solid, everyday wine. Blend of Grenache (50%), Syrah (30%), Carignan (10%), and Mourvedre (10%). — 6 years ago
1966 vintage. Mid-shoulder fill. Lip under the foil an anthrax fever dream. Cleaned than up with an ice cube and a napkin. Used a Durand but this cork merely chuckled at it. Worst cork I’ve ever (tried to) extracted with a Durand. Bring out the funnel with screen to sift/filter out all the semi-ancient cork sed. Wasn’t going to decant as per usual guest wishes so went with the smallest decanter. Tasted 15 minutes, 45 minutes and 1.5 hours after opening. Light, well aged-Burgundy body. Substantial, (STILL!!!) feminine-styled offerings fruit/spicewise. Ummm…reason why Pichon-Lalande-and La Mission Haut-Brion-are my two fave BDX big guns. This was still showing better than you woulda thunk. 8.14.26 — 3 days ago
This was great but not same level as prior bottles. Perhaps a slightly off cork ? Medium dark rubi robe, nose of blackcurrant, top soil and balsam with hints of cedar. Ever so slightly reticent tannins but overall great length and good complexity. Great now, but no rush. — 3 months ago
Can Rick get this? — 7 months ago
I did not have high hopes for this one especially after paying $7.50. However, this is a well-structured wine! Very dark and really good. I wished I had bought more. — 2 years ago
2020 vintage. An excellent introduction to the grand vin at a fraction of the price. Highly recommended. Abv. 14%. — 2 months ago

Outstanding Beaujolais. Shimmers in the glass. Minerals and bright black cherry dominate on the palate, with a smack of flowers on the finish. — 8 months ago
Wine flight at Sunday Vinyl. So great to see @Bobby Stuckey and the crew. And nothing like a Macintosh set up for sound. “It is so choice. If you ever have the means I highly recommend it.” — 4 years ago
A great bottle for the price. Big red with notes of tobacco — 6 years ago
Peter Sultan
Black & red cherries, medium heft Morgon with a gossamer smooth palate helped by a robust decant (2+) hours. Paired with a garlicky lemon shrimp main with orzo, & did just fine — 15 days ago
