Sweet goes very well with cheese. — 4 years ago
Haven't tried a wine from Lebanon in a while. Wonderful aroma of dark red and black fruits. Tobacco. Cedar. Sour plum. Pretty cool 😎.
This 2020 is aging pretty well. Could go longer but drinking well now, a bit unctuous. Thick. Not a super structured or complex palette but it holds it's own with any Mediterranean lamb dish that you would pair it with. Very similar to Napa cabs but with a bit less finesse but with more interesting aromatics. — 4 months ago

2014. Baked apple, baking spice, caramel, subtle toast, tiny bit of an oxidation (nuts), nice acid. — a year ago
Light ruby color.
Clean red fruit nose.
Lean and astringent. Whole cluster?
Well made. — 3 years ago
Would liken to an entry level rioja. Dark red fruit, tobacco, astringent tannins. Mellowed out a little after opening but still a bit rough on the finish. — 4 years ago
Vasanth Balakrishnan
After 10 years in the bottle, a decidedly savory second wine from this storied Second Growth château. Meaty, almost Northern Rhône character after uncorking. After a day in wine fridge the charcuterie notes ease a bit, blackberry, stewed cassis start to edge forward, classic #pauillac graphite and mineral notes that carry through on palate. Lovely tension on the palate and persistent fine tannins through the finish. — a month ago
