Distinctive bouquet characterised by aromas of black and red fruits, intensified by woody and smoky notes. The wine reveals delicious mouthfilling backed by beautiful fullness and velvety tannins. A harmonious combination that produces a silky, warm wine that perfectly reflects the nature of its terroir. — 7 months ago

Pure purple fruit. Not red, or black. Not much acid or tannin, but beautiful pure fruit expression with real mid palate weight. 1 or 2 more pts with structure. — a month ago

Ik denk m’n eerste Meursault….
Bevalt goed! Hier kan ik wel aan wennen 😂.
Zachte zuren, ziltig en zalvend. Bitters komen in de finale. Lichte boterzuren, granny smith, iets toast, fijne mineralen/grassig. Abrikoos, sterfruit. Prima, lekker, maar geen wauw.
Bij deze ene gaat het desondanks niet blijven.

Great wine. Will improve but not a bad time to open. Aromatics started with a distinctive smoky or reductive note that I couldn’t quite place but dissipated and morphed. Good structure. — 2 months ago
Disappointed by the lack of balance. — 5 months ago
Even though 2015 was a warm year I find this wine a little tart with distinct citrus notes and absent any stone fruit! Good minerality and nice roundness from oak élevage. Enjoyable but not excellent… — 6 months ago
Classic and reliable right out of the gate but also delish on day 2. Pinot funk is immediately evident on the aromatic nose. Always a bit more concentrated and sappy than fruit from further north. More expensive than ever before but still worth it IMHO. — 8 months ago
2023 winter. I wish I had more detailed notes…I do remember enjoying this thoroughly — 3 years ago
Really nice example of gevrey. Nice change after a lot of Cali pinots. — 5 years ago

The nose gives this away as a Burgundy rather than a new world Pinot - at least to my nose. Earthy and red fruited with mushrooms on nose and palate. The palate is restrained - and totally balanced between richness and restraint. Great terroir and well made. I note Jasper Morris MW comments about Les Cazetiers - “gives a feeling of refinement and precision “. — 2 days ago
