The vintage was poor, producer is superb. Reflection and introspection leads me to regret. If you’re on a tight budget, don’t go here. In my opinion, the vintage presents too many fault lines to be addressed. — 9 months ago

2018- Vintage seemed like it was Saigneed but very nicely done big fruit and nice dark cherry and spice soft oak background — 3 months ago
A small holding of ancient vines within old stone walls and near Faiveley’s Clos des Cortons. Reasonably light for a Grand Cru. A light to medium weight palate but with Medium + intensity. Spice, Plum and earthy notes. I disagree with Burghound’s assessment of being a big wine. I found it to be light. It did have silky tannins but overall somewhat disappointing. Certainly from a prestigious producer. I have had better experiences with Faiveley’s Clos des Cortons (see notes on Delectable). — 5 months ago

Oh so good, and consistent with prior bottles. Subtle, elegant, complex. — a month ago
Medium dark rubi robe, nose of spices and cherries. Top soil, mineral and elegant in the mouth, its very approachable now but no rush, will hold for several more years. — 4 months ago
Super fresco. Giù come acqua — 5 months ago

Her Mir Tage
The 1990 Richebourg was bursting with aromas just half an hour after opening—violet, wild cherry, dried rose, and sandalwood. The tannins were silky, yet the structure remained intact. An excellent bottle.
The 2002 Richebourg, after four hours of decanting, revealed stunningly delicate notes of face powder—extremely fine.
The 2005 RSV (Romanée-Saint-Vivant) showed creamy aromas right after opening, followed by the classic, captivating powdery perfume typical of a warm vintage. However, compared to the one from Méo-Camuzet, the DRC's powdery note carried a more grand and graceful presence. — 15 days ago
