Nose: very floral. Pink roses. A hint of violet.
Palate: very fresh. Bright cherries. A hint of bitterness on the finish. Some lovely grippy texture. Some fruit clings to the palate.
Let’s see where this goes. I’m leaving half for tomorrow. This is hiding the goods today.
90 minutes in utter genius.
Needs 90 minutes. Then … genius. — 3 months ago
THIS Is NOT ENDERLE and MOLL. It’s Domaine Seven Endele.
Nose: incredibly dense. Cherry. Spice. Dark lilacs. Quite penetrating. Alluring is the word. Hints of pink roses.
Palate: dense cherries. Cherry spice. Maybe a hint of cherry y cough syrup. Savory. Some elegant richness. Maybe a mere hint of stem. As this opens silky texture.
Some dark cherry licorice on the finish.
A bit tight. Better in 2 years or with a decant.
12.5%. Hard to believe is. — 4 months ago
See my previous notes. Sven always works at the edge. Excellent and classic Pinot - the way it should be made. Looks light in the glass. But this carries a serious punch some whole cluster, some cherry 🍒 - but mostly other berries…cranberry and elderberry. Chalky and tart - excellent tannin management. If you consider yourself a Pinot expert - this should be on your bucket list. (Sourced by Lyle Fass). — 2 days ago
These E&M wines are just stupido! What do i mean by this? Popped opened. Joined 2 bottles into one because i was not convinced/unhappy. Got close to the sink. Then decided leave in the fridge for 2 weeks. And Voilà now quite awesome. Strawberries, tart, rhubarb, ….bark, more red than Rosé. Dark, complex, orange zest, dark cherry. Would age this 2-3 years. Revisit and then decide on even more cellar time. — 3 months ago
Wow! So glad I bought a bottle of this. Funky on opening. After 2 hours it is so good. Violets, roses, cherry, baking spice is in background, there’s an earth/herbal component I cannot pinpoint. It is so drinkable but evolves with almost every sip. Need more Pinots like this in my life. — 2 months ago
A perfect Spätburgunder from Baden — the closest a German Pinot Noir has tasted to Burgundy, and an excellent value at ~$40 a bottle.
Classic Pinot noir flavors of cherry, raspberry, and earth. — 3 months ago

Quite earthy. Light. Ten years later for this basic wine and it still does very well. Strawberries, rhubarb, stem influence, oregano… as it opens up give it many hours! Hint raspberry. Still a lot of tannis. Given that this is the basic wine for E&M and was 20$. This is unbelievably awesome 😎. What a wine - i fear this is my last bottle - a cellar find - i am totally disorganized hahaha 😆. — 17 days ago
