Had this vintners Timarosso same night & both lived up to the hype. A decade of age has made this Barbera blend a deep, soulful expression which I had not yet experienced in such a blend. Nose is full of spice and tar Big potpourri vibes. Floral and cherry. Cardamon. Clove. Deep and keeps revealing more and more layers. Nice. I like it. Juicy, balanced, pure. loads of tangy fruit. Deep, elegant, sappy and explosive. Big, grippy and ripe tannins but not obtrusive. Really clean and fresh. I love it. Really good length. Terrific wine and length. Wonderful. — 4 years ago
