Called chard. Grassy lychee super dry. - at Mike’s. — 3 months ago
Light garnet color with a small ruby core. Aromas of wet soil, red berries and dried rose petals. Flavors of raspberries, red currants, mushrooms and savory spices. Long lasting finish. Gripping acidity with very silky tannins. Light bodied and quite savory but still full of finesse. Needs a bit of aeration to fully open up. Solid value and nice mid-week option. Thanks for the bottle, Kase. — 6 months ago
Highly enjoyable, on the fruitier side (cherries, raspberries) with some nice undergrowth and a hint of mushroom.
On the palate nicely balanced with the fruit a touch too sweet. Not too much depth but a perfectly fine everyday Burgundy at a very reasonable price. — 9 months ago
Mineral driven with orchard fruit accents, zippy, simple but well done. — 4 years ago
A main player on BYob night at French restaurant. Silky smooth (decanted at least 30/45 mins); beautiful crushed red fruit thing fused with some kind of cardamom spice mix thing. Paired with roast salmon in a charcuterie sauce. Felt like a really in their prime 4th outfielder who could play any position in a pinch—not a standout but absolutely integral as a team player, if you can forgive baseball metaphors. — 11 days ago

N: dusty cherry. Lovely nose.
P: delicious cranberry. Some bitterness. Well made. Tannic a bit.

Quite a nice perfume red fruited a bit reticent nose into a soft palate and texture and lingering more acidic finish. 15 years of slumber paid off — 7 months ago
Initially slightly green/stemmy, but integrated over time - roses and rose hips, bright red fruit and acid, linear and bright ✨ — 2 years ago

So after the last wine I was obliged to open something else from the same appellation. Medium deep ruby , with quite wide light garnet rim . Quite fruit driven and aromatic , red currant , rose , wild strawberry , raspberry and just a touch of spice. On the palate this has the cool red fruits of the nose with red currant, raspberry and wild strawberry , well balanced alcohol with fresh acidity , rounded ripe tannins and good refreshing sweet red fruit finish . This is quite elegant and refreshing , well proportioned and well balanced. To drink now and over the next 5 years or so . I hope that after the last wine I am not being overly generous , but I think this showed very well , with really good elegance and freshness. — 9 months ago
Tasting at Moore B. Owner couple present but didn’t speak, looking uncomfortable. Great line up though. Nice light bodied lively red Burg with emphasis on cherry notes. From a figure thin long plot that’s le diut — 2 years ago

A few things first.
This Jasper Hill Farms Harbison is the creamiest, gooey delight out there, once you let it warm up. I take it out a 1/2 hour before serving. It is wrapped in spruce cambium, which is the inner bark layer of a spruce tree. Gives it a interesting characteristic. Always a great pair with WB and or Blanc de Blanc Champagne.
PYCM is simply one of the better & consistent white burgundy producers. They’re close to town and not far from Olivier Leflaive. Right around the corner basically.
2020-23 has been a good run in white burgundy. Maybe, 24 too. Not sure yet. I haven’t had a big enough sample size yet. The ones I have had, very good.
The nose reveals; Meyer lemon, green apple, lime zest, tropical melons, white stone fruits, honeycomb, frothy cream, light caramel, some herbaceous notes, paraffin, sea fossils, saline, grey volcanics, dry limestone, chalky powder, yellow & white lilies that remind me of funeral arrangements.
The palate is round to thick, vicious & waxy. The flavors mirror the nose. Meyer lemon, green apple, lime zest, tropical melons, white stone fruits, honeycomb, frothy cream, butterscotch, caramel, some herbaceous notes, white spice that palate burro’s w/ pleasant heat, paraffin, sea fossils, saline, grey volcanic fine bits, dry limestone, chalky powder, with tiny bits, yellow & white lilies that remind me of funeral arrangements, rainfall acidity with a round, lush, well balanced finish w/ good length/tension and lasts two-minutes long setting on earth-volcanics & spice. — 10 days ago
