Had this at Comedor in Austin TX last night. The food there was overly hyped up, over smoked! Glad of this even though it's 3 times overpriced in retail! — 5 months ago
Medium golden color. Very expressive aromas of rose petals, honeysuckle, melon, orchids and Asian spices. Flavors of apricot, peaches, tropical fruit, honey and ginger. Nice touches of mandarin orange and minerals on the long and elegant finish. Pleasant viscous/oily texture. Subtle acidity but still very well balanced. So complex, concentrated and bold but also very harmonious. — 9 months ago

Day 2 notes. Nose of blueberry and blackberry, granite and graphite. Dark and rich but super mineral as well. Palate is energetic and fresh but also dark and rich with blackberry and blueberry galore. Young and disjointed as it was yesterday but it’s all there. Check back in 5 years — 3 years ago
A little linear but pretty and lifted nose of small berries, orchard apple, lemon rind. Beautiful effervescence and acidity. A little better at the end perhaps a sign of warm vintage but good effort regardless. — 5 years ago
This shone. Really good. Powerful. — 2 months ago

Nice wine for Thanksgiving dinner. Dark color. Needed at least one hour to open up. Chocolate and cherries, — 9 months ago
Turn key delicious. You can think on it too though. — 5 years ago
A beautiful bright , light ruby pink , luminous . Really very deep for a rosé Champagne . On the nose lots of red fruits , cherry , raspberry , strawberry and red currant , touch of spice and rose also . On the palate again , lots of fruits and quite a lot of body , strawberry , raspberry and red cherry , red currant from the nose , spice hints though balanced acidity , quite round , full mouthfeel. Good length fruity , spiced finish. Quite unique in style, probably not for everyone, especially if you like focused , mineral roses. Drink now . Reminds a bit of a light Bourgogne Rouge with bubbles ! Well made , and certainly conversation inducing. At La Vertu in Reims . — 3 months ago

2022 is drinking so perfectly. Full rich crushed dark fruits with a slight earthy smoky core. Blows me away. — a year ago
Very light cantelope color. Unripe cantelope, wild strawberry, herbal and minerality. Austere (in a good way), crisp, and clean. — 4 years ago
From the always lovely lieu-dit Meix Chavaux. There is a ripe opulence that is seamlessly balanced by signature Roulot kinetic energy and drive. Ripe orchard fruit, lemon verbena, flinty minerals, saline and matchstick reduction that blows off with a sufficient decant. There is great cut and delineation even in the ripe vintage. But we should expect nothing less from the great Jean Marc Roulot. Finishes long and intense strutting its mineral backbone and impressive focus. — 6 years ago
