Medium golden color. Very expressive aromas of rose petals, honeysuckle, melon, orchids and Asian spices. Flavors of apricot, peaches, tropical fruit, honey and ginger. Nice touches of mandarin orange and minerals on the long and elegant finish. Pleasant viscous/oily texture. Subtle acidity but still very well balanced. A beautiful bright , light ruby pink , luminous . Really very deep for a rosé Champagne . On the nose lots of red fruits , cherry , raspberry , strawberry and red currant , touch of spice and rose also . On the palate again , lots of fruits and quite a lot of body , strawberry , raspberry and red cherry , red currant from the nose , spice hints though balanced acidity , quite round , full mouthfeel. Good length fruity , spiced finish. Quite unique in style, probably not for everyone, especially if you like focused , mineral roses. Drink now . Reminds a bit of a light Bourgogne Rouge with bubbles ! Well made , and certainly conversation inducing. At La Vertu in Reims . — 3 months ago

From the always lovely lieu-dit Meix Chavaux. There is a ripe opulence that is seamlessly balanced by signature Roulot kinetic energy and drive. Ripe orchard fruit, lemon verbena, flinty minerals, saline and matchstick reduction that blows off with a sufficient decant. There is great cut and delineation even in the ripe vintage.
