Medium lemon straw , slight deeper than the P2 1998 served alongside . More persistent perlage than the P2, very fine . Here the nose is slightly deeper and more penetrating, with rich spiced citrus , buttered brioche , crushed chalk , seashell hints . This is powerful and dense on the palate , lemon , mineral , and chalky hints , fresh and vital, white flowers , even a touch of Indian spice. Long and balanced , still pretty youthful and probably needs more time to fully integrate the shear extract this has on the palate. Perfectly formed , with a fantastic future , better in 5 -8 years and will last a further decade. The complete package, spellbinding. — 12 days ago
Built up a bit of excitement in selecting this Nuit-Saint George, then opened it up and neaaahhh!
All a bit flat. Nothing terribly wrong and it wasn’t corked, just no major aromas or flavors. Guess you can’t win em all. Or, we’ve just been spoiled with amazing wine and every now and then you pick an average one.
Still a great meal 😊 — 14 days ago

Medium straw lemon colour . This is quite rich on the nose with lemon pith , touch of smoke , ginger and creamy , honeysuckle notes . On the palate this shows more yellow fruits, peach , apricot and lemon , good acidity and balance. Quite intense and long with chalky touches. Drinking well now but still quite fruit dominated. A really good bottle , completely another experience than the overly advanced bottle last year , this one showing youth and freshness , ripeness and intensity . Lovely now but will continue and probably improve over the next 5-10 years . — 12 days ago
This is nice but not the showstopper of their other Grand Cru. Leaner, soft, nicely ripe berries-lead with raspberries, cherries, strawberries & some pomegranate. Nice red and pink roses. Excellent acidity, elegance, balance but not the perfect structure & length of the other Grand Cru-Griotte. Chambertain. — 25 days ago
Had the 15 Salon two-weeks ago. After, I had this cuvée and their 2018 Delamotte. Not really a fair order. So tonight, thought I’d give it one. Been awhile since I enjoyed this cuvée.
In the rare case, Salon does not declare a vintage, this is where that fruit goes. So…when & if, buy this n/v.
Nice mousse, crispy, racy acidity. Lime pulp with zest, lemon pulp, green/golden apple, white stone fruit, some yellow peach, kiwi, tropicals, frothy, steamed whole milk, caramel, vanillin to vanillin, excellent white spice, palate penetrating volcanic minerals, limestone marl, brilliant chalky powder with bits, some yeastiness, baguette crust, brioche, toffee & butterscotch notes, almost a sweetish herbaceous quality, daffodils, white flowers set in greens with a nicely rounded, knitted, balanced, spot on tension and a 90 second, elegant finish that long sets on spice & volcanic. — 12 days ago

Incredible vintage for Coche. The 2011 Meursault is as good as it gets for white burgundy, with signature Coche fireworks on full display, wafting layered aromatics and a stunningly textured palate with killer density and volume. Unbeatable with the cuisine at CTBF! — 4 days ago
