Blend of Corsica’s indigenous grapes, 50% Niellucciu, 35% Sciaccarellu, and 15% Grenache. Pale Salmon color with aromas of red fruits and stone fruits with wafts of minerality. On the palate flavors of peach and cherry, some citrus and a lively acidic structure. Medium+ finish with a mineral character. — a year ago
Upfront cherry & cranberry with more earth tones and minerality & wet stone through the finish. Soft red wine but very pleasant — a year ago
Seven local grape varieties. Sciaccarello, Carcajolu-Neru, Morescono, Alaehco, Nielluciu, Montaneccia and last but not least Morescola! Great selection — a year ago

Cuvée granit 174 — 10 months ago
A well-balanced red blend. The tannins give it a dry overall profile especially toward the end, but there's just enough earthiness and meaty fruit notes (dark plum) at the start to give it a rich flavor. — a year ago
Still enjoying the Pearl & Ash left over😉😉 Amazing cellar — 6 years ago
CV pre dinner tasting. Color lighter than Gavi but nose shows oxidative notes melon ripe fruits. Softer texture roundness on palate. Long grippy finish that’s unexpected. Two more bottles to try. CV second bottle, less oxidative and fresher nose and palate. Upping to 9 — 10 months ago
Exotic candied cinnamon, licorice, sassafras, granite. Clean. Aging well. — a year ago
So consistent, this "pillow" rose is light on its feet and finely elegant, though the flavors cut deep...that is the magic of these rose. — a year ago
Take us to Corsica!!
We’re prepping for an upcoming class with this beauty, which comes from the southern tip of Corsica (the most southerly wine region of France 🇫🇷 ); an appellation called Corse Figari AOC.
The vineyards are farmed biodynamically (certified since 2006) and are situated on a plateau at the base of the Omu di Cagna mountain ⛰️, not far from dramatic Bonifacio cliffs rising up from the azure blue waters of the Mediterranean.
It’s made with Vermentinu (aka Rolle or Vermentino) by Clos Canarelli, devoted to producing high quality terroir-driven wines made with indigenous varieties.
This wine offers a bouquet of lemon and orange peel, white peach, crisp green apple, just-ripe pineapple, honeydew, citrus blossom, elderflower, crushed stone, arugula, and custard.
It is both vibrant and rich with a creamy mouthfeel and layered complexity. It’s absolutely delicious and we cannot wait to share it next month. — 3 years ago

Light and crisp, tastes like blood oranges. — 6 years ago

Spicy, light, fresh yet with quite some character. Fresh red fruit (strawberries & cherries) with a spice undercore.
On the palate this is light yet with presence and a nice tannic frame. I wasn’t expecting this fragility, but it’s really nice. And despite the lightness this has presence and character.
A lovely wine! — 9 months ago
