Fruit forward but very rich with oak, raspberry, and cola. — a month ago
1 hour decant(decent chunky sediment). A striking medium purplish garnet color with bricking. On the nose: Inviting notes of dried red fruit, currants, pencil shavings, floral, stewed meat, milk chocolate. Taste: fully mature, savory, silky wine with dried plum, ground coffee, earth, minerals, tobacco, and a sour cherry/green bell pepper/graphite long finish. YUM!! Drink em if you got em. — 15 days ago

One of the rare Cali Pinots which is not a fruit bomb. Mostly raspberry intermixed with cherry, touch chalk well balanced with good acidity and length. 13.5%. These used to be relatively reasonable priced now north of 70$. It’s a shame really. — 9 hours ago

Built up a bit of excitement in selecting this Nuit-Saint George, then opened it up and neaaahhh!
All a bit flat. Nothing terribly wrong and it wasn’t corked, just no major aromas or flavors. Guess you can’t win em all. Or, we’ve just been spoiled with amazing wine and every now and then you pick an average one.
Still a great meal 😊 — 12 days ago
