Such full-bodied pinot noir — 9 months ago
Medium Ruby color with aromas of berry fruits with notes of dried herbs, citrus and woody spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cranberry and cherry with espresso, vanilla and herb tea spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine soft tannins on a long finish ending with cacao, spices and slight earthy character. Very nice! — 2 years ago
Some chocolate berry, and prun-ish notes. Not very long for a cab-sac.

Deep purple in color; cocoa powder, dried figs, and bwy leaves on the nose; medium acidity, medium tannins; tastes like molasses, blackberry jam, and cedar with a long finish. Great for a boxed wine. — 3 years ago

Opened just prior to dinner. The 2008 Coteau de Vernon pours a deep straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of peach cup with the pears and cherry too. There’s white flowers, honey, fresh mint and other herbs too. Wow! On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and oily. This bottle came across young. A benchmark Condrieu. Drink now through 2038. — 7 days ago
