2014 is a notoriously difficult vintage in Tuscany, but this showcases the finesses achievable in a challenging season.
The nose shows fresh cherry, red currant, pinecone, violet, and touch of leather and baking spices. Medium-to-full body on the leaner side, the plate is marked by vibrant acidity and refined silky tannins. Hint of sweetness on the long finish.

Really no need to write this up because it's one of my go-to's. I guess i haven't posted 2019 on Delectable, but it's always consistent and it's just right with my skirt steak and chimichurri. Yeah, it's 50 degrees out so I fired up the grill! Happy Valentine's, my loves!

Blend of Trebbiano and Grechetto with some additional local varieties blended in. Light white gold color. Aromas and flavors of yellow apples/pears, lemon, white flowers, raw almonds and a touch of wet limestone. Nice touch of saline on the long and lingering finish. Lovely creamy texture. Excellent structure and crisp acidity. Outstanding value! Thanks for sharing, Chris B! — 5 days ago
