Direct follow up to 2020 vintage. Much more earthy terroir taste than the 2020 fruit bomb. Very enjoyable with more complex hints of flavor — 3 months ago
Really nice actually. Thought it was too syrupy at first but after 30 mins it mellowed and became crushable yum — 6 months ago
Incredibly smooth red blend. Strong berry scent, long smooth finish. Excellent wine. — 11 days ago
This 5+ year vintage is nicely balanced. On the classic California Cab style side, it paired very well with steak on the grill. June 2025. — 3 months ago
Jack and Jamie Davies revived the historic vineyards and cellars in 1965. Today, their son Hugh, continues their mission. 100% Chardonnay pale straw color with aromas of stone fruits, floral and citrus notes. A terrific crisp sparkler with crisp apple, peach and lemon flavors, fine mousse with tiny bubbles. Tangy acidity on a long finish ending with a yeasty creamy character. Nice! — 5 months ago
Nose: licorice. Big black fruit.
Palate: delicious. Big black fruit. Spice. Acidic balance.

A pale lemon yellow in colour - quite youthful looking for a 12 year old Chardonnay. Aromatics of white peach - mealy and nutty notes, still with a nice acid cut at the finish. Drinking at its peak. Fuller than some Marg River Chardonnays I’ve had lately like Xanadu and Fraser Gallop. I have had richer Art Series Chardonnays but personally I love the balance in this. — 4 months ago
Nicely aromatic & restrained (for Australia) with purity of dark fruit (blackberries, plums, mulberry), nice depth and excellent tannins quality - juicy, polished, finely grained.
Very elegant & with beautiful balance between the ripeness & savoury notes.
A really lovely wine! — 5 months ago
