The niose on this is out of this world (or one might say heavenly hehehe) for a garnacha with both fresh and stewed plums, black pepper, menthol or eucalyptus, and the savoryness of red meat. Relaxed and not in a hurry on the pallate, it floats there with very fine tannins and just enough acid to keep it fresh while not interfering with the silky texture of it all.

New-mown hay, blackberry brambles on the nose. Intensely fruit forward, but not sweet or cloying. Raspberries and blackberries. Light tannic structure, with mint and back pepper low notes, but it develops a pleasing minerality on its surprisingly long finish. I don’t know anything about this vintage, but it seems like it was grown on volcanic soils. The front reminds me of a Beaujolais Nouveau, but the finish is much more complex. A unique profile combination that I’ve never tasted before. Lovely. — 2 months ago

Pale straw in color, intense (-) nose with pear, citrus and passion fruit notes. Refreshing and balanced. Tasty Lugana for your fried anchovies, sea food with slow cooked tomato sauce pasta and a thin dough Artishok pizza. — 14 days ago
